Fulham forward, Alex Iwobi has said the Super Eagles will work hard to earn a spot in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The three-time African champions did not make it to the last edition of the international football tournament held in Qatar.
The Super Eagles are still fighting for a spot in the 2026 World Cup finals, which Mexico, Canada, and the United States of America will co-host.

Eric Chelle’s side will take on the Panthers of Gabon in the semi-final of the playoffs on Thursday (today) by 5pm.
Iwobi hopes they will eventually navigate their way through the playoffs, and make it to the mundial.
“Hopefully we win and get the result we want because the World Cup is the biggest competition and it would be a shame if Nigeria don’t go and it’s only right that we give our best and try and show Nigerians we are there,” he told Sporty TV.
