2025 Afrobasket Qualifier: D’Tigers to play In Monastir

D’Tigers hopeful despite fall to Argentina

FIBA Africa has unveiled the eagerly awaited details for the inaugural phase of qualifiers, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Egypt and Tunisia have emerged as the chosen hosts for the opening window of the 2025 FIBA AfroBasket Qualifiers which is fixed from February 23rd to 25th, 2024.

Tunisia is set to be the host for Groups B and E, while Egypt will kick off the action by hosting the inaugural games of Group D. Meanwhile, the qualifying campaign for Teams in Groups A and C, aiming for a spot in the 16-nation AfroBasket, will commence in November.

D’Tigers are placed in group B alongside Cape Verde, Uganda Qualifier from Zone 1 + Zone 2.
