2025 AFCON: CAF inspection team arrives in Zambia

The inspection team of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) continued their visit to the countries that have shown interest in hosting the 2025 African Cup of Nations, BSNSports.com.ng report.

Guinea was stripped of the hosting right in late 2022 after they failed to meet the requirements in terms of facilities for the event.

CAF reopened the hosting bid and 5 countries including Algeria, Morocco, Zambia, and Nigeria/Benin indicated an interest in hosting.

The inspection team was in Algeria earlier in the week to have a look at their facilities for the competition.

The body on Saturday arrived in Zambia and commented inspection of the facilities presented for the biennial tournament.
