Toni Payne, a Super Falcons midfielder, expects a tough game against Brazil in their debut match at the 2024 Olympic Games.
Randy Waldrum’s team will begin their quest for a podium finish in Paris with a Group C match against the South Americans in Bordeaux on Thursday, July 25.
Brazil is regarded as one of the world’s greatest football nations.
Toni Payne, who just joined Everton, believes the Super Falcons are on the same level as the Brazilians but admits they will be a difficult team to beat.

“Playing at the World Cup was an amazing experience and being able to compete on the international stage with this team again is a good opportunity and I’m excited,” the former Sevilla of Spain star told NFF TV.
“Brazil is a tough team and talented but as Nigeria, we are at their level and it’s going to be a good match.”
The Super Falcons will meet current world champions Spain and Japan in the same group.
