The Executive Chairman, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Malam Jalal Arabi, has said that, Kebbi State has excelled among other states that performed the 2024 Hajj.

He made the disclosure while interacting with newsmen in Jidda, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The chairman noted with satisfaction that Kebbi State has excelled among other states in different ramification, including pilgrims’ welfare right from Nigeria, good accommodation, feeding, good healthcare, hygiene as well their general wellbeing among others.

According to him, “this is what is expected of every state. We want other states to borrow a leave from Kebbi State so that this can be a competition amongst them towards decent and excellent Hajj operations in subsequent years.

“Let me use this medium to commend His Excellency, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris for the tremendous assistance rendered to pilgrims as well as support to Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Board under Alhaji Faruku Aliyu-Enabo.

“I want to state that in the whole of Nigeria, there is no state governor that we can beat our chest and say he is better than Kebbi State governor as far as Hajj operation is concerned,” he said.
