Senator Stella Oduah has urged citizens of the country not to lose hope but to remain hopeful for the country regardless of its current economic and security challenges as they enter the new year 2024.
Oduah in a statement released by her Media office on Sunday tasked Nigerians to remain united, prayerful and hopeful and also hold their leaders more accountable in the new year.
According to the 9th Senate Parliamentarian, she urged Nigerians to join her in being optimistic that the year 2024 will usher in accelerated development and progress in Anambra State and Nigeria, while wishing the people of Anambra and Nigerians a bountiful 2023
She asked elected leaders to live up to their electoral promises in the new year so as to gain the trust of the citizens. Stella who represented Anambra North at the Red Chambers also called for concerted efforts to deal with the level of insecurity plaguing the nation.
“As we begin a new year, it is important that we all remain hopeful that we can achieve the nation that we all desire. As we reflect on 2023 it is important that we should be grateful to God for making it possible for us to witness a new year 2024.
“we have reasons to celebrate the remarkable successes we have recorded individually and collectively as a state, despite the daunting challenges facing the Nation”.
“I am optimistic that the year 2023 will most certainly be a redefining year for us as a people. And it is our earnest desire that Anambra will continue to record more feats”.
“On behalf of my family and members of my executive council, I wish you all a happy and prosperous new year”, Senator Stella stated.
