National Women Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Betta Edu, has promised to mobilise 40m voters for Tinubu/Shetima in the forthcoming 2023 presidential poll.

Edu, who made the disclosure at the APC women rally for the South-South zone held yesterday in Calabar, said the women wing has the capacity mobilise such number of voters and sustain the victory that brought the party to power seven years ago.

Edu stated that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, a Muslim, has supported women, stressing that this has been seen in his wife, a Christian, who he empowered to rise to the position of senator.

“The deal is 40m votes. So, we are going for 40m votes for Tinubu/Shetima. If you don’t have your PVC, you are wrong. Don’t let anybody give you money in exchange for your PVC.

“When you return to your respective states and local government areas, please mobilise women so that we can cast our votes in support of Tinubu/Shettima ticket. I am very pleased because we have so many governors who are supporting Tinubu,” she stated.

In his remarks, the APC Cross River State Chairman, Alphonsus Eba, pledged to use his office to ensure that 500,000 votes remain intact for Tinubu/Shettima.
