Deputy governor of Imo State,professor Placid Njoku has expressed confidence that the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress(APC) Bola Tinubu will silence his critics with a victory in the 2023 Presidential polls.
Njoku who barred his mind while interacting with newsmen in Owerri on Wednesday said he has no doubt APC will take over from President Muhammadu Buhari when he leaves office next year following the already laid down achievements of the party.
According to him,the volume of achievements recorded by APC will speak for it on the polls just as he noted that most of projects embarked by President Muhammadu Buhari will be commissioned soon for people to see.
Njoku also maintained that APC will definitely win in Imo following the structures already put on ground by governor Hope Uzodimma,insisting that the party has no rival in the State .
He said” APC will take Nigeria by storm,we have all it takes to win,President Muhammadu Buhari has already laid the foundation,we dont expect people not to ask questions after seven years,but we have wonderful achievements,take the south east for example,look at the second Niger bridge,the Enugu/Porthacourt road which have been there since PDP was in office ,at one time ,half of that road was not even passable.
“APC came in and said it would do it and that road is done ,look at the second Niger bridge fantastic structure to behold ,APC came and build it and very soon it would be commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari.
” And if you add to the great jobs APC States are doing ,look at the railway projects and other projects being executed in various States of the federation. We are hoping that the railway projects which will pass from Portharcourt to Owerri will be completed in the next administration, that’s our expectations,APC does not promise and fail.
“All the agitations about ‘BAT’ him,he arrived and filled space ,they can now close their faces in shame ,Bola Ahmed Tinubu is back and he will take the country by storm,he has hope to rely on and that hope is the hope that never fails and that’s Hope Uzodimma”.
The deputy governor has also lauded governor Uzodimma’s projects in the State laying particular emphasis on road construction and curtailing insecurity challenge in his State.
