The man of God in charge of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele, has said that the spiritual implication of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s election mantra, Emi l’okan, covers the ongoing election petitions against him, declaring that “only God can stop Tinubu from completing his tenure as President.”
The renowned seer made this remark on the sideline of the launch of the 2023/2024 ‘Warnings to the Nations’, a compendium of prophecies for Nigeria and other countries of the world.
The book, which is the 29th edition, also covers prophecies about government agencies, parastatals, organisations both in Nigeria and across the world.
Primate Ayodele described the turnout of the event as it concerns Tinubu’s emergence as a vindication of his prophecy about the mantra.
“When I revealed that ‘Emi l’okan’ was spiritual, some people became angry and started criticizing me. But I thank God that the turn of events has vindicated me. The man in question invoked the spirit of ‘Emi l’okan’ to win the election. Even the ongoing court matters are also covered by this mantra. That is the area Atiku and Obi do not understand. They refuse to understand that politics is spiritual. Before you aspire to occupy a position you must seek the face of God first. Only God can remove Tinubu as it stands now,” he said.
Primate Ayodele, who opined that the decision by the government to remove fuel subsidy was ill-timed, described the move and the attendant hardship Nigerians are facing as the consequences of the choice they made.
“Tinubu is the people’s choice; not God’s choice. Just as it is in the Bible when the people insisted that God should give them a king rather than accede to God’s plans for them, God heeded their calls and gave them kings that turned out to be more of whips to them,” he said.
The cleric, therefore, urged the masses to seek the face of God and pray for the government in power that God should use the government to solve the myriad of problems confronting the nation.
“There is no doubt that Tinubu means well and has good plans for this country, but there are some steps that had been taken that are likely to work against his plans. For instance, he shouldn’t have settled for a Muslim/Muslim ticket. Those who engineered the ticket are still going to fight and a lot of hidden secrets about it will be exposed,” he revealed.
On security, the man of God commended the choice of the Service Chiefs appointed by the president, including his choice of the acting Inspector General of Police.
He, however, pointed out that their success in fighting crime and terrorism in the country would depend largely on their readiness to do what is right.
“God revealed Egbetokun to me long before his appointment. You can confirm my prophecy about this from all platforms. The choice of the Service Chiefs is also perfect. But it remains only the head of the DSS now. If this security heads can summon the courage to expose and fight the cabal behind security challenges in Nigeria, I assure you that bandits, terrorists, criminal herdsmen and other criminals will leave Nigeria. But if they refuse to fight and expose them, these enemies of the nation will continue to hold Nigeria to ransom security-wise.
“Corruption will hit this government hard except the government is ready to fight corruption from the root,” Primate Ayodele revealed.
He, therefore, urged the president to listen more to his critics rather than give audience to those he described as praise singers.
“I see this government as a government of vengeance. If Tinubu wants to succeed as a president, he must listen more to his critics and not to those singing ‘hosanna, hosanna ‘.
Primate Ayodele said that Nigerians should not expect so much from the current National Assembly, which he noted would not function more than as rubber stamp to whatever comes from the executive arm.
The Lagos-based cleric implored President Tinubu to release the incarcerated leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, saying that Kanu’s freedom will be instrumental to the return of peace in the eastern part of the country.
“Peace will remain elusive in the Southeast as long as Nnamdi Kanu is held in custody. The current nationalist agitators, the likes of Nnamdi Kanu, Sunday Igboho are not the ones that will actualise Biafra or Yoruba nation. Of course, it will be actualised in the nearest future, but these agitators are not the ones to realise this dream. Five nations will come out of Nigeria in the nearest future without bloodshed.
“President Tinubu is surrounded by competent and qualified people who can help his government, but the question surrounding his decision to go with Muslim-Muslim ticket will be a major hindrance. That is why he should be careful about issues of ethnicity and religion.
“I need to say this: not all the governors that were sworn in at the beginning of this administration will complete their tenure. Some are going to fall by the wayside. Tribunal will remove some of them. Enugu governor should be getting ready, Kaduna governor should be warming up. There will be a major crisis in Akwa Ibom. Governor Umo Eno needs to watch out because APC is desperate to take over that state,”Primate Ayodele revealed.
