As the 2023 presidential election scheduled for February next year approaches, the Think Tinubu Movement (TTM), an Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for president movement, has declared that the forthcoming presidential election is a time for Nigerians a choice between electing men of empty words and promises and a man full of innovation, technological and infrastructural provision know-how.
“As it had been identified, the bane of our problems is our inability to elect a credible and purposeful leader that would rescue this country from imminent collapse. Nigeria in the past years has been described as, not a failing nation, but a failed Nation. As the situation stands in our country today, we have a decision to make. We must decide whether men of empty words and promises would be better than a man of wisdom, a man full of innovation, technological and infrastructural provision know-how,” it said.
Speaking at a press conference in Lagos Wednesday, its Director General Chief Segun Balogun Afolorunikan charged Nigerians to consider the issues of the scandalous level of unemployment, the state of insecurity, the pervasive official corruption which has impoverished millions of Nigerian people, the inability of past government to revive the deteriorating state of the economy, infrastructural deficits at the federal level, and a perpetual shortage of electricity, among many others when they cast their votes.
According to him, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is the person Nigeria needs at this time to lead the country as he has over the years demonstrated starling qualities as a resourceful leader.

He also boasted that Tinubu will defeat the candidates of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi, respectively.
He further said, “One thing is certain the bast is yet to come from the man Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, a man whom many of his admirers love to call “The Awaiting President’ because he has an unfinished business in the political evolution of this great country. In the almost 35 years of Tinubu’s involvement in the country’s political firmament, he has stayed true to his beliefs and ideology. He has consistently maintained principles of progressivism and welfarism, as against ultra-conservatism, which he has been using to promote the well-being of all Nigerians. He is a political titan, a phenomenon in Nigeria’s contemporary politics, a political tactician and strategist of no mean stature, a humanist, a leader of leaders, and a dyed-in-the-wool progressive, a visionary. Today, Nigerians have only one strategist, innovative and creative aspirant to Aso Rock, he is Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. “
He noted that the TTM is a support group of the Asiwaju Tinubu campaign organisation is poised to intensify its rigorous campaign and mobilisation of indigent voters who truly stand as progressives.
Some dignitaries at the press conference include Mrs Folashade Coker, a director at the Lagos State Inland Revenue Service (LIRS), Charles Okomadu, National Secretary of TTM and Mukaila Gado who represented TTM operations in northern Nigeria.
