A group under the umbrella of Plateau For Atiku Movement have appealed to Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and his supporters to embrace peace and reconcile with the presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar in the interest of winning the 2023 election.
The group noted that although some groups within the party might still be aggrieved over the outcome of the presidential primaries and called on those individuals to put behind their grievance and forge ahead in the interest of peace.
The group in a statement issued through it’s Protem Secretary, Prof. Shedrach Best, former Secretary to the Government of Plateau State after a meeting held at the residence of Ambassador Yahaya Kwande, Nigeria former Ambassador to Switzerland, re-affirmed its support for the candidature of Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
According to the Protem Secretary, the Meeting reiterated its commitment towards ensuring total support for Atiku Abubakar on the Plateau.
‘” Our support for Atiku Abubakar is unconditional and we are working round to deliver Plateau to Atiku come 2023 “.
According to them, while the party members who are aggrieved enjoys the space to express their personal opinions and views, the Plateau for Atiku Movement is calling on Nigerians to support Atiku Abubakar Presidential aspiration, saying Atiku with his political experience garnered over the years, has what it takes to take Nigeria out of its present challenges.
The group discussed on issues related to the victory of the PDP Presidential Flag Bearer, Atiku Abubakar, GCON, in the forthcoming 2023 general election and re-affirmed its support for the candidature of Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
They reiterated their commitment towards ensuring total support for Atiku Abubakar on the Plateau, stressing that their support for Atiku Abubakar is unconditional.
