…as YPP collapse structure into PDP in Plateau

Plateau State Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Barr. Caleb Mutfwang has pleaded with Plateau residents not to insist on casting their votes when BVAS failed to accredited them during the 2023 elections.
He noted that INEC has deployed BVAS technology to eliminate rigging and other electoral frauds and said the 2022 Electoral Act has empowered INEC to cancel election where there is over voting.
Mutfwang made the appeal while rounding up his political engagement across the 17 Local Government Areas in Mangu LGA, after a visit to the Palace of Mishkaham Mwaghavul and the District Head of Mangun in Mangu Local Government Area of the state.
He urged residents to resist the temptation of of selling their PVCs for anything or allowing the opposition to pick their PVCs numbers which would be clone to disenfranchised them at the polls.
“INEC has introduced BVAS machine to help eliminate rigging and double voting for the 2023 elections but you should not insist on voting when the BVAS did not recognize you because it will amount to cancellation of the result in that polling unit.”
He urged youths to shun violence and any act capable of undermining the success of the electoral process.
Mutfwang urged Plateau people to vote massively for the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and all party’s candidates to rebuild and unify Nigeria.
The Director General of Atiku/Mutfwang Campaign Council, Plateau State, Hon. Latep Dabang said the 25 February, 2023 elections would be for presidential, Senatorial and House of Representatives elections and urged the people to vote PDP from top to bottom.
He noted that with Atiku Abubakar as President, Plateau will have free access to the presidency to attract development and to unify the country.
Chairman of the PDP in Plateau state, Hon. Chris Hassan who, received the 17 Local Government Chairmen of YPP in Plateau state into the PDP urged them to vote the party 5/5 in all elections.
He noted that PDP is well prepared for the next elections and said it is only PDP that has the face of Plateau State and will work to protect Plateau heritage.
Ibrahim Adamu, who led the local government chairmen into the PDP said the party set up a committee of 25 people and 22 said the party should collapse into PDP.
“From today, we have collapse our party’s structure into PDP to support Atiku Abubakar, Caleb Mutfwang and all candidates of the PDP in the next elections.” He stated.
