The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has named Senate President, Bukola Saraki, as the Director General of its 2019 presidential campaign.

The PDP stated this in a statement by the National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, yesterday. The party also named Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal; Ibrahim Dankwambo, Gombe State governor, and Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, as presidential campaign coordinators in the North West, North East and North Central, respectively.

Similarly, the PDP said governors Nyesom Wike, Rivers; Dave Umahi, Ebonyi and immediate past Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose will be campaign coordinators in the South South, South East and South West, respectively.
Former minister of Special Duties, Kabiru Turaki and Akwa Ibom State Governor, Emmanuel Udom will be in charge of legal matters and fund raising, for the campaign.
