Twenty female grassroots football teams, has been tasked to jostle for glory at the 3rd edition of Navaney Foundation Women soccer tournament billed to kick-off November 9, 2025.
The week-long soccer fiesta scheduled to take place at Nathaniel Idowu Football Pitch, Ajegunle, Lagos, will see rising female stars lace-up their boots for action before their taming spectators.
Speaking at the tournament draw and trophy presentation, Chairman of the foundation, Chief John Akpan, via a communique, hinted all is set to stage a memorable competition which will supersede previous editions.
Speaking further, the philanthropist unveiled eye-popping monetary reward will be dashed out to inspire top finishers and individual brilliance while nothing his organization won’t relent in their bid to promote women’s endeavors.
The communique reads: “On behalf of the Chairman and the entire board of Navaney Charity Foundation, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the official draws for our 3rd Annual Female Football Tournament — an event that continues to shine as a beacon of empowerment, unity, and opportunity for young women across Nigeria.”

Meanwhile, top four finishers has been billed to bag medals, N500,000, N300,000, N200,000 and N50,000 respectively while individuals such as best goalie, striker, most valuable player and others will also chart away N50,000 each.
