Two persons have been hospitalised following a road crash involving a tricycle and a Toyota Prado sport utility vehicle at Allen, Ikeja area of Lagos State.
The incident reported around 7:49pm on Sunday occurred at Allen Intersection, after the tricycle allegedly drove against traffic light.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA) confirmed the incident in an X post.

“A serious accident involving a tricycle and a Toyota Prado Jeep which occurred at Allen Intersection after the tricycle drove against traffic light.
“Two casualties were recorded and have been rushed to a nearby Hospital, with no effect on traffic for now. Officers are on ground doing the needful,” the post reads.
A video of the aftermath of the accident, which was shared by LASTMA, showed the bumper of the SUV was nearly torn off, exposing the engine.
