A total of 1,660 delegates from across the 332 wards in Osun State have gathered to elect the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2026 gubernatorial election.
Though the Edo State governor, Monday Okpebholo, who led the primary election committee, has disclosed that affirmation would be done for the process.

After the meeting of governorship aspirants with President Bola Tinubu, they have endorsed the former MD/CEO of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Bola Oyebamiji.
The banner in the hall of the primary election at Ebunoluwa School obviously showed that Oyebamiji is the only aspirant in the process.
