Sixteen finalists have emerged in the pitch competition for grand finale of the Youth Sustainable Enterprise Challenge Programme (YSEC) that will hold on Tuesday, 17th December 2024, in Lagos State.
NerdzFactory Company facilitated the programme, in partnership with the British Council and King’s Trust International (KTI).
Ademulegun Olowojoba, Founding Partner NerdzFactory Company said the programme began with its first phase in February 2024 and continued with a competitive second phase, where 70 participants were carefully selected from a large pool of applicants.
Over the past seven weeks, the participants underwent intensive business skills training to develop their entrepreneurial potential.
The upcoming pitch competition will feature the top 16 participants who have excelled during the programme. These individuals will present their innovative business ideas to a panel of expert judges, with eight winners that would receive cash grants to grow and sustain their businesses.
The grand finale will also welcome key stakeholders, including state government officials, representatives from the British Council, and KTI, who have played a vital role in making this initiative a success.
