All is set for the 15th edition of the SOKEBZA Cup in Gusau, Zamfara State as former players take to the field for honours.
The annual tournament, scheduled for the FCET football field in Gusau, is for veteran players in Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara States from December 25 to 27.
According to the Local Organising Committee chairman, Lawali Suleman, the tournament is meant to foster love and unity for former players in the three states.
Suleman added that there would be an award and Gala night on the final day.
“Zamfara State is holding this year’s edition of the tournament, which is in its 15th edition, for players from Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara States to bond together,” Suleman said.
He extended warm welcome to visitors and wishes them a happy stay in the state as well as successful tournament.
The LOC chairman reiterates his commitments in hosting a spectacular competition and urged the participants to imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship.
