From: Moshood Adebayo On Tuesday morning, all roads lead to Ota, headquarters of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, the commercial hub of Ogun State, where a new paramount ruler for Aworiland, the Olota is expected to emerge, on Tuesday. The last Olota, Oba Moshood Alani Osayintola Oyede, joined his ancestors on May 25, 2016 after 19 years on the throne. The Ijemo-Isolosi Ruling House had, last Thursday, nominated 22 of its princes for the exalted position. The selection process, which will be completed on Tuesday, will see one of the 22 princes being elected by kingmakers as the new and 14th Olota. Details later… |
