13 houses destroyed, property looted as military, vigilantes repel Boko Haram attack in Madagali

Some members of the dreaded Boko Haram terrorist group were reported to have attacked and destroyed 13 houses in Kaya village, Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

The attack was reported to have occurred at around 9:00pm,  on Monday, Daily Sun gathered.

The military and vigilance group were reported to have repelled the attack, killing one member of the sect and inflicting injury on another.

The group were said to have destroyed 13 houses and carted away properties.

The Adamawa State Government, in a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Ahmed Sajoh, said it commiserated with the victims of the attack and salutes the bravery and resilience of military and people of Madagali.

Sajoh’s words, “The Adamawa State Government is working hard to ensure that immediate help reaches the wounded and other victims of the attack.
