Eleven contestants are in the final stage to determine who emerges as the winner in the ongoing FilmHouse Africa reality TV show season 1.
According to the organisers, the winner will go home with N30 million worth of prizes, SUV and endorsement deals with luxury vacation and tour companies, while consolation prizes will be given to other winners.
FilmHouse Africa reality show is aimed at exhibiting the lifestyle, creativity and potential of filmmakers, actors, scriptwriters, production managers, producers, directors, skit makers and content creators.
“FilmHouse Africa reality TV show provides and promotes professional platforms of diverse specialties and skills, enterprise development and economic performance,” the organisers disclosed.
After presenting the contestants to journalists in Lagos, the contestants showcased their skills when they acted in a drama titled, The Girl Child, which depicts the importance of the girl child in society. They also sang a song to the admiration of the guests.
Speaking, Ojo Beauty, one of the contestants, said: “My experience in the house has been wonderful. I have been able to discover myself, and what I can do with my talent. I have come to that level where I can manage my anger, tolerate people, and live with other people. The organisers have told us that we should fight to the finish, and I am ready to fight to win the ultimate prize.
Another contestant, Jason Ebuka, stated, “I learnt a lot of self-control, how to be emotionally balanced, how not to give up, how to pay attention to people and how to lead. I say thank you to the organisers for giving me the opportunity to explore my talents.”
On his part, Edosa Victor Onyekachi disclosed: “My experience in the house has really been amazing and educative. I have learnt a lot when it comes to filmmaking, directing, acting and relationships with crewmembers and artistes, as well as film production.”
Rosemary Afuwape added that her experience in the house so far has been challenging. She said, “It has made me discover myself. I have learnt that I should not allow my emotions to control me, but I should be in control of my emotions. I have also learnt to be humble in whatever I do.”
