About 100 Nigerians is expected to attend Istanbul Fashion Connection , IFCO, Turkey through the Association of Finished Textile Dealers of Lagos, (AFTDOFlagos), to exhibit most Nigerians’ trending apparel.
According to the president of AFTDOFlagos, Patrick Uzomah, who stated this in a press conference, added that the event which will hold from August 24 to 26 is aimed at restoring and displaying the rich apparel of the country.
“It is an opportunity for brands to meet collaborators, business will meet new partners, sustainable products will meet quality, while fashion meet passion. It is an international event where design, trend and brands are being presented and it hits all over the world. Turkey is the second biggest clothing market with class. It houses the biggest and most quality apparel in the world, knowing all these, why won’t Nigeria and Nigerians benefit from such. We need to be pushing the dying textile awareness in the country,” he stated
Uzomah added that more Nigerians are expected to attend
