Presidential candidate of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) Dan Nwanyanwu promised on Monday to block all leakages working against the growth of Nigeria’s economy.
Nwanyawu, who spoke at the town hall meeting with party officials, supporters, stakeholders and the residents of Nasarawa in Lafia, said that the country has suffered as a result of bad governance.
According to the ZLP presidential candidate, the nation has all it takes to be a great nation but is weighed down by corruption in all sectors of the economy, adding that transparency and accountability will form the driving centre of his administration for the growth of the nation’s economy.
“All the leakages that have become a drain pipe for unscrupulous Nigerians will be blocked, and the ZLP will ensure that all revenues are transparently collected and remitted to the appropriate quarters for national development and growth”
“If elected, our government will promote transparency and accountability to ensure that all avenues for siphoning the nation’s resources are sealed. There is so much that we can do with our God’s given resources to strengthen our economy not a barrier to our growth as a nation.
The presidential candidate said combating insecurity across the nooks and crannies of Nigeria would form a cardinal point of administration if voted president on Saturday, February 25.
“Vote Zenith Labour Party for a better Nigeria. We Wii bring back the unity of Nigeria. We will bring back the trust amongst Nigerians,” he stated.
He further affirmed that his administration would focus on Agriculture by making Fertilizer available and affordable for rural Farmers in order to boost food production lamenting however the current predicament faced by Nigerians as a result of the monetary policy.
While calling on Nigerians to exercise patience and show understanding with the new cash policy, Nwanyawu vowed to fight corruption and reduce petroleum pump price to 100 Naira per litre when voted as president as well as make functional all the refineries for massive production.
