The electronics section of Alaba International Market will shut down from December 24, 2024 and reopen on January 13, 2025.

President of the electronics section, Camillus Amajuoyi, said during the market’s annual end-of-year thanksgiving service held recently, that the closure is to allow traders get rest and rejuvenate, particularly in an era where health challenges are prevalent.

“This break is essential for traders to take care of themselves and avoid the ‘fall and die syndrome.’ It also provides room for the ongoing restructuring and rehabilitation aimed at transforming the face of Alaba,” he said.
