Two weeks ago, we began talking about this topic and we talked about one of the keys; “Giving”.
We went further to talk about “Kingdom Promotion Giving” as one of the types.
Today, we will talk about more types of giving.
2. WORSHIP OFFERINGS. EXODUS 36:3-7.KJV.
3”And they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it withal. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.
4 And all the wise men, that wrought all the work of the sanctuary, came every man from his work which they made;
5 And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the Lord commanded to make.
6 And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing.
7 For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much”.
• Giving is a command by God.
EXODUS .35:4-5.KJV. 4”And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the Lord commanded, saying,
5Take ye from among you an offering unto the Lord: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the Lord; gold, and silver, and brass”.
• Giving to God is a privilege. Gen.4:3-5.KJV. 3”And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord.
4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell”.
Giving is every man’s responsibility.
We are admonished in the scripture not to enter God’s presence empty handed.
DEUTERONOMY 16:16-17.KJV. 16”Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the Lord empty:
17 Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord thy God which he hath given thee”.
Give your size. (Give according to the blessings of God upon your life.)
Plan your giving.
1 Corinthians 16:2.AMP. 2”On the first day of every week each one of you is to put something aside, in proportion to his prosperity, and save it so that no collections [will need to] be made when I come”.
Never come before your God empty- it is an abuse of privilege.
God takes cognizance of every offering we bring when we are in worship.
We must understand that our seed is not a financial donation to help God, the church or the pastor. Rather, it is a spiritual transaction that provokes the release of financial fortune.
We can only give our way out of poverty.
Do not offer God something that you know is useless or worthless. Give Him the best that you have.
Mal.1:8.AMP.8”When you [priests] present the [a]blind [animals] for sacrifice, is it not evil? And when you present the lame and the sick, is it not evil? Offer such a thing [as a blind or lame or sick animal] to your governor [as a gift or as payment for your taxes]. Would he be pleased with you? Or would he receive you graciously?” says the Lord of hosts”.
3. GIVING TO THE POOR.
DEUTERONOMY 15:11.GNT. 11” There will always be some Israelites who are poor and in need, and so I command you to be generous to them.
PROVERBS 19:17.KJV. 17”He that hath pity upon the poor lendethunto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again”.
Giving to the poor is another avenue where we provoke financial overflow.
Men whose wealth transcends generation are men who give to the poor.
The way you affect the life of the poor will determine how God will enlarge your financial coast.
You can never be truly rich if you neglect the poor.
Genesis 12:2. “2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing”.
God has blessed you so that you can be a blessing.
Every time you help the helpless, you are serving the purpose of the kingdom
Conclusively, to truly grow financially, you cannot hold back from giving.
Proverbs 11:24-26 KJV
There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; And there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. The liberal soul shall be made fat: And he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

PRAYER OF SALVATION
In all of these, the first step is to be born again as
Romans 10:9-10 says
”that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.“
Kindly say this prayer aloud;
“O Lord God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Your word says,”…whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Acts 2:21).
I ask Jesus to come into my heart to be the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit and according to Roman 10:9, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thy heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved”,
I declare that I am saved; I am born-again; I am a child of God!
I now have Christ dwelling in me, and greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4)!
I now walk in the consciousness of my new life in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!”
