The Chief Executive Officer, 10Dollar Entertainment Group, Muyiwa Otedola has vowed not to relent in assisting and promoting up and coming artistes globally.

He made this known to journalists in Lagos last week. According to him, the media interaction serves as an avenue to showcase some of the talents that 10Dollar Entertainment has in stock for Nigerians and the international community.

“10Dollar has over 100,000 upcoming artistes in Nigeria and has been supporting them by providing content, promotion and organising shows where they exhibit their talents. As a way of assisting young and talented artistes, and bringing them to the limelight, 10Dollar has injected millions of dollars into the Nigerian entertainment industry,” he disclosed.

Stephanie David, a newly signed artiste under 10Dollar Entertainment, said it feels great to be signed under the label. “It is a great privilege for me to be among the artistes signed by 10Dollar Entertainment. Arrangements are in top gear for me to launch my album, Abeg on September 1. I was singing gospel music and later switched to secular music. 10Dollar saw the potential in me, which I didn’t see and that was why he signed me. My first contact with him was a year ago and it took him six months for him to get across to me and give me the contract.

“At first, I was worried when I got to know that he has over 100,000 artistes signed under his record label. I saw a lot of the artistes and I asked myself, ‘am I sure that I will be noticed?’ But as individuals, we are unique in our own way and I know that in the midst of many artistes, I will standout. And by God’s grace, I was able to standout from the crowd,” he stated.

At the event, two of the newly signed artistes, Iboy MP and Queen Stephire thrilled the audience, as they too will launch their albums on September 1.
