For Emmanuel Chibuike Emeri aka Bykeez, the music’s muse caught up with him while in secondary school.
Narrating how it all began, Bykeez said he started singing during the social hour in school. “One day, they performed Phyno’s song, Connect, which received a standing ovation. From that day, I decided to take music serious,” he recalled.
The Afrobeats artiste recently released his 5th single, Eternity, which is making waves on broadcast stations in the country. “Eternity is the first Afrobeats song I’d drop. It’s about a beautiful woman that takes all the love and material things that come with it, but refuses to reciprocate the same gesture to her lover, making him to have emotional problems,” Bykeez said.
Other singles released by the artiste are Asap Rocky, Small Circle, 6am In Lagos and Love Scars. However, hopes to drop his album before the end of the year.
“My songs are about life experiences, love, and struggles because I have experienced these issues one way or the other. I dropped my first hip-hop single, For You in May 2019, where I rapped in Igbo and English. The song is about the good things I promised I would do for a lady. In the next five years, I hope to see myself doing great things like touring the world, and touching the lives of people around me positively,” the musician stated.
