Joy and happiness have suffused trainees who graduated from the WABIO Makeup School, in Lekki, Lagos, after undergoing the three-week-long intensive training on professional makeup artistry.
From Bbeginners with zero makeup knowledge, to those with intermediate skills looking to upgrade their skills, to participants with advanced skills hoping to infuse some professionalism and international best practices to their skills, they all found WABIO Place as the right and first place choice to provide the vital training needed to make excel in their career as makeup artists.
WABIO, which is an acronym for “Women Are Beautiful Inside and Out”, goes beyond simply helping ladies with a clean, event-appropriate makeup look, to training them on how to achieve same for both personal and commercial purposes.
Chief Executive of WABIO, Mrs Ebele Enemchukwu, a graduate of the prestigious London Makeup School, in a brief chat said: “WABIO Place is for persons seeking something different, something uncommon, something royal. It’s no coincidence that the moniker at WABIO Place is “Beauty For Royalty”.
“Most Outstanding Participant” award for the just-concluded B24 edition was won by Mrs. Chidimma Igboanua while Ms. Annabel Anyakoha clinched the second place title. For her consistent punctuality to classes daily, sometimes as early as 6.00 am for a 9am class, Mrs. Lucy Eze received the “Punctuality Champion” award.
The 18-year-old and youngest participant who was christened “last born” during the training, left for Canada a day earlier, and was therefore absent on graduation day, but was fondly remembered at the event by her tutors and colleagues.
