Recently, the   Eze Ndigbo  Ghana and Chairman  Fletcher  Foundation, HRM Eze Amb Chukwudi Ihenetu, his wife, Her Majesty  Ugoeze Liberty Ihenetu  and his council of chief  visited Methodist  School, Dominanse, in Central Region,  Ghana  where Non governmental organization gifted the students with Sanitary  items which included  panties,sanitary pads, tooth paste, inner wears and other items to the students.

In addition, the Foundation  also commissioned  10 toilet facilities ; 5 for boys and another five for boys.

The good people  of Dominanse who were full of appreciation  for the kind gesture, rolled out drums to welcome HRM Ihenetu  and his entourage.

In his  remarks HRM Amb. Ihenetu  thanked  God Almighty  for his grace and strength  which enabled him and his team to successfully  carry  out the project.

“It gives me joy when I help the needy. After careful  assessment  of the needs of the students, we discovered  that the toilet will be of great  benefit  to them. Hence, we commenced the project. to God’s Glory, we are commissioning the project today.

“I thus appeal  to management  of the school  to make good use of the facilities so that it will  serve the good purpose  for which it was established.

On why Viola Fletch Foundation  embarked on the project,  HRM Amb. Ihenetu  said: “Several girls in the Gomoa East District of the central region skip classes during menstruation. This is as a result of their inability to afford sanitary towels coupled with the poor sanitary conditions at their places of convenience. It is in this regard that the Dominase D/A Basic School has benefited from the construction of a new toilet facility courtesy of the Viola Ford Fletcher Foundation.”, he said.
