The Public Relations Officer of the university, Mr. Isaac Oluyi, in a statement, said the training, facilitated by BISM Software Limited, was one of the strategic plans of the Prof. Adesegun Fatusi-led management of the university to expose staff to global best practices in their respective fields.

According to him, “The Vice-Chancellor has remained consistent in building the capacities of staff from the first day of his administration. He has demonstrated through his actions that knowledge of what one does will distinguish one and set one apart in the discharge of one’s duties.

“This training is another classic example of his belief in building the capacity of staff. We are indeed grateful,” he added.

Oluyi’s statement indicates that Admon Accounting Software is used to capture accounting information and prepare financial statements for the university.
