A tourism advocate, Fabian Arinze Ugboma has emerged Mister Tourism Africa 2024/2025, making history as the very first Nigerian male to win the coveted continental title.
The Miss Tourism Africa and Mister Tourism Africa is the continent’s only tourism-driven pageant competition powered by Qhue Concepts, a premium events and branding company.
Better known by his brand name Kvngfade, Ugboma clinched the crown at the Miss/Mister Tourism Africa pageant held in Lagos, Nigeria, an event backed by reputable sponsors including Carlo Rossi and Park Inn by Radisson, MAC Cosmetics, Essenza Nigeria, Landmark Event Center and endorsed by the Lagos State Government through the Lagos Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Arts.
The native of Umuogha in Ossomola, Ogbaru Local Government Area, Anambra State, beat stiff competition from delegates from over 15 countries, including South Africa, Uganda, Liberia, Gambia, Lesotho amongst others.
Ugboma assumed the mantle of continental tourism ambassador after his poise, intellect, and a mission-driven platform captured the heart of the continent.
Speaking with Daily Sun, the new Mister Tourism Africa 2024/2025 promised not to rest on his laurels.
He disclosed that he would be launching a bold, multi-nation campaign tagged “See Africa First”, a transformative Pan-African tour designed to promote tourism, fitness, cultural exchange, and youth engagement across Africa.
“This isn’t just about travel or titles,” the hospitality consultant said. “It’s about reclaiming our story, encouraging Africans to appreciate their heritage, and showing the world what Africa truly offers — from ancient cultures to modern innovations.”
Ugboma further disclosed that the See Africa First tour set to commence in late 2025 will include cultural festivals & site tours across multiple African countries, fitness boot camps & medical outreach in partnership with local health agencies, content creation & tourism documentation to promote local attractions, and collaborations with tourism boards, youth organisations, and media houses.
“This ambitious journey is more than a sightseeing expedition — it is a call to invest in the African experience, starting with Africans themselves. The tour will also highlight underreported travel destinations, boost small businesses, and open up tourism-related economic opportunities,” the CEO of Fade Entertainment Concept said.
