From Petrus Obi, Enugu

For Mr. Gerald Nduka and his wife, Elochukwu, their recent gift of triplets has brought mixed feelings to the family.

Their feeling now is one of joy and gratitude to the Almighty for blessing them with children, and the other of worry, considering the biting economic situation of the country.

The triplets (all girls), delivered at the Enugu State University Teaching Hospital, Parklane, Enugu, brought the number of their children to seven, just in three deliveries. Elochukwu told Daily Sun that her first delivery was a single, the second twins and this, triplets:

“We are happy and grateful to God for the gift of these babies. But, I must confess that things are very difficult considering the economic situation and rising price of goods and services.
