Fabrizio Romano, a football transfer expert, has provided recent information on Chelsea’s approach for Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.
Romano commented while refusing suggestions that the Blues had pulled out of the contest to recruit the Nigerian international this summer.
Osimhen wants to leave Napoli before the summer transfer window shuts.
The Super Eagles striker has been linked with move to Chelsea, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain.
However, in a tweet on Tuesday night, Romano wrote: “Chelsea have never left the race for Victor Osimhen, despite reports this month.
“Interest has always been and remains there, but Osimhen’s still only open to leaving only on permanent transfer and not reducing his salary. No changes so far.”
