In the proposed N49.74 trillion 2025 budget, the Federal Government has earmarked N4 billion for the construction of a new presidential helipad and jetty in Lagos.

The project is part of the larger N1.138 trillion allocated to the Ministry of Works, which will oversee its execution.

The Ministry’s capital expenditure of N1.09 trillion, analysts note, highlights the government’s strong commitment to advancing significant infrastructure projects across the country.

The construction of the new presidential helipad and jetty is scheduled to begin following the approval of the 2025 budget, marking a vital step in improving transportation infrastructure and ensuring smooth, efficient travel for government officials.

Beyond the helipad and jetty project, the Ministry of Works has outlined several major initiatives for Lagos under the 2025 budget. Among these is the rehabilitation of Ogunusi road to Oba Ogunji road, spanning 15 km from Odo-eran Junction in Ogba, Ikeja.
