Nigerians, particularly Christians have been asked to put sentiment aside and support the incoming administration of president-elect, Bola Tinubu.
Prophet Austeen Ikorro of Christ Ambience, who handed the advice, countered the viral prophecy on social media that the president-elect, Tinubu would be arrested on the day of his sworn in.
The cleric also described as false the prediction that there will be an interim government to be headed by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
Prophet Ikorro, who had in October 2022 prophesied that the APC candidate would emerge winner of the presidential election, said nothing will stop the May 29 inauguration of the incoming government.
He warned that Nigerians, particularly Christians should join hands with the new government because only God can enthrone kings.
In a video shared on his social media platforms, the fiery preacher faulted some clerics who gave emotional prophecies.
He said, “About ten months ago, we gave a prophecy regarding the presidential primary election of the APC. God told me pointedly that Tinubu was going to win the primary election and not Osinbajo as many people expected.
“Many people, out of sentiment, doubted the prophecy on the ground that Tinubu was the choice of the current president. Against all odds, Tinubu emerged as the presidential flag bearer of the APC.
“Similarly, in October 2022, God told us that Ahmed Bola Tinubu was going to emerge as president of Nigeria. Not Peter Obi, not Atiku.
“Many of our prophetic fathers were very careful to speak because it was a sensitive season in the political setup of our nation nigeria. But God told me to go ahead and speak and I told the world what the Lord said that Tinubu was going to win contrary to what the masses wanted.
“If I wanted to speak by presumption, of course, I would have followed the bandwagon to say Peter Obi.
“We saw a trending video on social media that the president-elect would be arrested. This will not happen. Tinubu will be sworn in.
“It is high time we put sentiments aside and follow the mind of God.”
