Human rights lawyer, Barr. Deji Adeyanju said President Bola Tinubu would win by a landslide if the next presidential election were held today.
Adeyanju stated this in a Facebook post on Thursday.
According to him, the present political opposition poses no challenge to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The lawyer and activist noted that the opposition’s response to the president’s recent suspension of the democratically-elected government in Rivers State was weak and indicative of its lack of readiness for the next election.
He said, “If elections were to hold today, Tinubu will secure a second term easily. There’s practically no opposition in the country. There was no resistance to the Rivers unconstitutional act.
“This government can get away with absolutely anything. Everybody waiting for everybody to act.”
