Popular Delta State-born artist, Tiffany-Annabelle is all set for a transformative solo exhibition, ‘Women in Bloom’ slated to hold in Abuja from May 9 to 16, 2024.
This also marks her triumphant homecoming after a successful exhibition in Ghana last year where her work captured the attention of Ghana’s First Lady.
‘Women in Bloom’ is a powerful message about celebration and the embracing of a woman’s evolution, highlighting her inherent strength.
The ten-piece exhibit is a development from Tiffany-Annabelle’s sold out debut ‘MissAligned’, tracing a journey of growth and self-discovery with the current female subjects having blossomed.
They embody enjoyment, confidence and fulfillment, having found their paths to success. For the first time, the artist introduces a male figure, interacting with the women in her pieces.
The male form artfully rendered melting into a female. This symbolizes the profound impact a woman living her truth can have on the opposite sex.
Furthermore the women in Tiffany-Annabelle’s work are surrounded entirely by African flowers: a powerful exploration of their rootedness in their power and identity. Her signature use of triangles is still a constant in her work and if you look closely appears hidden in different areas.
