The chairman of Soyinmacs Foundation, Mr Sunday Soyinka, popularly known as ‘Apoti’, has ascribed the huge success achieved at the inaugural edition of the Naija Children Festival which was held on Friday, at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, to the hard work and dedication of the Soyinmacs team.
Soyinka, filled with excitement about the success of the event which was a razzmatazz of fun, music, entertainment and unforgettable moments, also disclosed that he is filled with “Immense joy, pride and satisfaction” to have positively impacted young and innocent children, including children with disabilities.
He said, “The joy in our hearts is immeasurable. The success of the Naija Children Festival fills us with immense pride and satisfaction. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, as well as the generosity of our partners, private and public schools and the Lagos State Universal Education Board (LSUBEB). Knowing that we had an amazing time hosting these children is incredibly rewarding. And next year, Soyinmacs Foundation will do even more in this and other humanitarian areas. Fingers crossed.”
