• Condoles with Dariye over parents’ death

Former Governor of Plateau State Sir Fidelis Tapgun has congratulated his successor, Jonah Jang, who clocked 80 years on Thursday.

Tapgun has also sent his condolences to another of his successor, Joshua Dariye, who lost both of parents recently. The deceased would be buried this weekend in Dariye’s home, a Mushere, in Bokkos local government area of Plateau state.

Dariye ruled Plateau! state from 1999 to 2007 and handed over to Jang, who was governor from 2007 to 2015.

In his message to Jang, Tapgun wished him many more fruitful years and prayed God to bless his remaining time on earth.

To Dariye, he prayed that God will grant the departed peaceful rest in paradise.

He said, On behalf of myself and family, I extend my felicitations to former Governor Jonah Jang and wish him more 80 years.”

He equally asked Dariye to accept the death of his parents as the will of God, saying, ” It’s a thing of joy that a son will bury his parents and not the other way round. I thank God that they produced a child who made them proud by contributing to the development of Plateau as governor and senator.
