It was truly a night to remember.
In fact, the Spotlight Concert and Awards, which held at Landmark Event Center, Lekki, Lagos recently, was marked with unforgettable performances and moments that will be etched in the memories of all those who were fortunate enough to witness it.
As the night sky darkened, the venue of the show was set ablaze by the performances of some of the hottest acts in the music industry. The crowd was electrified by the pure energy and gutsy performances of the opening acts, setting the perfect stage for the much-anticipated headliner, Seyi Vibez.
With a grand entrance signposted with an eccentric style, Seyi Vibez delivered a medley of his hits and features, leaving the audience in awe. The artiste worked his magic on stage, and the crowd was hooked, engaging in a karaoke session from their seats.
Other entertainers that thrilled at the event included DJ Crowd Kontroller, DJ Smallz, Manolo Spanky, Hypeman Somadina, Queen of Mic, and Stie Majik.
However, the grand finale of the concert was a nail-biting affair, as the final three contestants of the talent hunt took to the stage to showcase their talents. The tension was palpable as the audience held their breath, waiting to see who would emerge victorious. In the end, Olajide Olowoshile (Jaybow) was crowned the champion of the night, and the crowd erupted in a frenzy of excitement.
Earlier, the first and second runner-ups had been announced. They were David Samson and Gabriel Adetunji (Jabril) respectively. While Jaybow smiled home with N2 million record deal, N500,000 cash prize and award, Samson on his part got N1 million record deal, N250,000 cash prize as well as award plaque, and Jabril received N250,000 cash prize and award plaque.
