From August 8, 2024, a new season of Superstory titled, The Curse will hit the television screen across Nigeria and globally.

The Curse is from the stable of Wale Adenuga Productions (WAP), the award-winning producer of Superstory, Papa Ajasco & Company, and Akpan & Oduma comedy.

Superstory: The Curse parades a star studded cast that includes Mr. Macaroni, Yetunde Barnabas Olayinka, Hafiz Oyetoro, Gloria Young, Babaseun Faseru, Sa’eed Muhammed (Funky Mallam), Lalude, Segun Arinze, Kate Adepegba, Dele Odule, Olajumoke George, Samuel Olasehinde, Joke Muyiwa, and Temitope Aremu among others.

According to Wale Adenuga Jnr., producer of Superstory drama series, The Curse is a captivating story, which will hook viewers from the first episode. In addition to the production design, and the cast of celebrities, the programme stands strong on the foundation of a fascinating story that is authentically African and relatable to viewers of all ages.

“After Superstory recently won the TV Drama of the Year award at the Nigeria Media Merit Awards (NMMA), we promised something extra special, and here it is,” Wale Adenuga Jnr. said.

From August 8, episodes of Superstory: The Curse would air weekly to viewers across Nigeria and several parts of Africa on NTA Network (Thursdays 8-9pm), AIT Network (Thursdays 9-10pm), STV Network (Thursdays 9-10pm), and wapTV via DStv 262, StarTimes 116, GOtv 129, FreeTV 751, Play 275, and AVOTV (Thursdays 8-9pm) as well as worldwide on YouTube: “waptvchannel”.
