Nigerian Air Force (NAF) said it has successfully evacuated 350, stranded Nigerians trapped in ongoing war in Sudan.

The passengers who are being airlifted with the NAF C-130, Hercules are expected to arrive the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at exactly 11:40 tonight.

NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Ayodele Famuyiwa, who made this known, on the NAF’s Whatsapp media forum, said: “I am pleased to inform you that the NAF C-130H aircraft that went to evacuate Nigerians stranded in Sudan has departed Aswan and is expected to touch down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja by 2340hrs (11.40), tonight.
