Emmanuel Dennis has made a promise to Blackburn Rovers supporters, assuring them that scoring goals will not be an issue.
The Super Eagles striker recently joined Blackburn on loan for the remainder of the season from Nottingham Forest and is excited about the potential ahead.
The 27-year-old brings a wealth of experience, having played in the Champions League, Premier League, and Championship across various clubs. In an interview with RoversTV, he shared his ambitions for the team.
“Rovers are in a very good position, and the team plays attractive football. I hope to contribute something special so that we can enjoy a great time together,” he stated after finalizing his move.
“Goals won’t be a problem for me; I also love to bring joy to the game by showing tricks, nutmegs, and exciting the fans. After all, that’s what they come to the stadium for—to see entertainment, enjoy happy moments, and witness victories.”
Dennis expressed his gratitude to the fans, saying, “People come from their homes to sit in the cold and watch us play, so we owe them something great.”
“I’m a cheerful person and find joy in scoring goals. I’m thrilled to play in front of the fans, and I know they will have a good time with me!”
He added, “I’m genuinely happy and excited to meet my new teammates and start playing together.” Dennis has played in various countries, including Ukraine, Belgium, Germany, and Turkey, throughout his diverse career.
“I appreciate many aspects of playing in England. I enjoy the banter, the atmosphere, and the fans. I’m getting accustomed to playing here, and I love the humor and respectfulness of the people, though the weather is not my favorite!”
“I am extremely eager to play football, and I hope we will create great moments together. I’m ready to give my all for this club, as I truly appreciate being given this opportunity.”
