…says Nigeria has all it takes to succeed

National youths stakeholders have called on Nigerian youths at the just concluded summit, in Abuja to stop illegal migration, adding that there are lots of opportunities in the country.
The President, Nigeria Youth Alternative Council (NYAC), Icon Nixon Chukwuk Odimbu stressed on the need for Nigerian youths to
embrace innovation and ingenuity, describing it as critical to achieving excellence.
He said that young people will not achieve the expected growth and development if they refuse to adopt strategies for change.
“Dear Nigerian youth, we can’t continue to do the same thing, think the same way and expect different results. We need to come out with ingenuity and innovations, we need to take back our country and build the future we envisaged. We can’t continue to complain, let us take a bold step today to liberate our generation from the political stereotypes that have kept our country in total mess.
“Time to look is over, time to act is now as our development as a country is a collective responsibility. Together in unism, we can make a meaningful difference”, he noted.
Also, the NYAC in collaboration with over 106 youth organisations declared an entrepreneur and business man, Deacon Chris Iyovwaye, as the General Commander of the Nigeria Youth (GCYN).
The NYAC President described Deacon Iyovwaye as an active humanitarian who has empowered and employed over one million Nigerian youths across the country.
He said, “Deacon Chris Iyovwaye has proven to be youthful and youth oriented person, aside being youthful and passionate about the walfarism and development of the youths, he’s a servant leader and has proven as such in all ramifications”.
Responding, Deacon Chris Iyovwaye, the new General Commander of the Nigeria Youth (GCNY), expressed confidence in the ability of the Nigerian youths.
Iyovwaye noted that records have Nigerian youths are doing well especially in music and entertainment, adding that they need extend sure energy to other areas of life.
He, therefore urged youths to stop complaining about the government but look for untapped areas , adding that Nigeria has all it takes for them to succeed.
” We are at a crossroad as a country. When a country is at the crossroad,they turn to their youths which is the engine room.
There are lots of opportunities in Nigeria. Everything that is needed for us to succeed is here in Nigeria, time to stop waiting for the government but look for untapped opportunities.
“I am convinced and I believe overwhelmingly that our youths today are the leaders of tomorrow.
“Youth must continue to push. No matter how far you have gone, there is still a place to go forward” he said.
Similarly,the Chairman of the occasion Vast Emordi said it is time for the youths to put their strength together and change the narrative.
He stressed that any nation that allows corruption will surely sink,” it is time to take back out country and make it work again.”
