In a deliberate bid to bring succour to vulnerable residents, Agboyi-Ketu LCDA under the administration of Mayor Dele Oshinowo has rolled out another bout of social Intervention.

The intervention program will involve the distribution of food packages across twelve centres, with each resident to go home with a 10kg bag of one of the food items ; i.e either rice, beans or garri.

According to the Supervisor of Agriculture, Social Services and Community Affairs, Hon. Seyi Ikuejuyone, noted that the exercise was carried out to put smiles on the residents’ faces, most importantly the aged, widows and special individuals.

Monitoring the distribution across the centres, the second citizen of the LCDA, Mrs. Folake Kayode stated that the exercise was to ensure everyone in the LCDA feels the uncommon governance approach being developed by her principal.

She further explained that the LCDA will continue to unveil landmark programmes that will continue to improve the welfare and wellbeing of her residents.

“The present administration in Agboyi-Ketu LCDA is one that connotes good governance in all ramifications, while the good works of Mayor Dele Oshinowo has placed our beloved LCDA in the doing good map, it is important for the positive approach to be sustained”

“While this present exercise will cater for 6,000 households, let me reiterate that the intervention exercise will hold regularly to meet the demands of our people in this trying phase of our nation”

Commenting on the successful distribution of food items, scores of residents across the twelve centres commended the council boss, Mayor Dele Oshinowo for thinking outside the box to progress the LCDA.
