Fans of English singer Adele were given some sad news this weekend as the ‘Easy On Me’ crooner revealed that she will be taking an indefinite hiatus from music.
JustJared reports that Adele shared the update while onstage during her German residency, adding that the break from music starts very soon.
While addressing fans on stage in Munich on Saturday, August 31, Adele stated that the lengthy break begins immediately after she wraps up her Las Vegas residency.
“I have 10 shows to do, but after that, I will not see you for an incredibly long time. And I will hold you dear in my heart,” the 36-year-old said.
Adele’s performance on Saturday marked the final of 10 shows that she performed in Germany and she will resume her Vegas residency on October 25.
The artiste will conclude her performance in Vegas on November 23.
