With his work now making him one of the most sought-after in the music industry, top music-video director and cinematographer Oyefeso Oluwamayowa Olumide, also known as Olu The Wave has highlighted his challenges in making Pheelz’s YOLO video.

 

Speaking on the challenges, Olu The Wave described the actual production of the music video as a ‘miracle’.

 

According to the video director, several obstacles came up from with timing being the most prominent, he said “Pheelz came back from Ghana around 3pm because they moved his flight he even struggled to get that 3pm flight and we still shot the video that day.

 

“Everything was ready on set but we had to wait for him to arrive, Omo, it looked impossible but I didn’t want to show it physically cause if I fold the whole team will so I gats do like say nothing dey and we moved like say nothing dey lol and God did his work.”

He added, “It took sheer determination at some intervals to overcome the challenges that came with the job.

 

“There are many factors and ingredients responsible for a good musis video. Location is one of them. you need to find a suitable location that fits the concept of your music video.

 

“Having a good budget planned out is also important but I think proper planning and timing ranks high on the list.

 

“Pheelz’s video taught me that, it was really a miracle for it to end up good.”
