Seyi Vibez’s status as one of Nigeria’s hottest acts is undeniable. The Afrobeats sensation has captivated fans at home and abroad with his dense discography of hit records that have dominated streaming charts.
His cultural significance and stage presence makes him an attractive live performer, and he took that energy into the London and Manchester legs of his SOA World Tour.
The tour, announced off the back of the release of Loseyi Professor, presented an opportunity to fans in the diaspora to connect with Loseyi in new ways while enjoying some of his new material live in concert.
In usual fashion, Seyi Vibez shut down both shows in London and Manchester, selling out the O2 Indigo on August 23rd, 2024 before heading to The Lighthouse on the 25th. Loseyi went through a host of fan favourites at both shows, with the crowd singing back to him in loud choruses.
The audience were also met with special surprises across both shows, with Wizkid’s guest appearance at the O2 Indigo being one of the highlights. CEO of Dapper Music, Damilola Akinwunmi describes the opening dates as a ‘success.’ “We are happy to continue to share the music of Seyi Vibez with millions of people around the world – whether via streaming or physically at his shows such as these ones.” The tour is set to return with more dates, and tickets are available here.
