The Senator representing Kebbi Central Senatorial District under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Muhammadu Adamu Aliero, has commended Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris for the remarkable socio-economic transformation ongoing across the state.
Aliero who stated this while speaking to journalists after a meeting of the Kebbi Elders Consultative Forum held at the Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi, described the scale of development as unprecedented, impressive and tangible.
“Even a blind man would know that Birnin Kebbi has witnessed a significant facelift.
“The roads are properly constructed and paved, with solar-powered street lights installed along virtually all the major routes,”he averred.
Aliero emphasized that the development efforts extend beyond the state capital to other major towns like Argungu, Yauri, and Zuru, where road construction and other infrastructural projects are actively ongoing.
He assured that the Forum would continue to offer constructive advice to the Governor in the interest of good governance.
The Senator also chided some critics who claim that no meaningful development is happening in the state, urging them to offer objective criticism rather than baseless remarks and blind opposition.
“In a democracy, criticism is normal, but it should be based on facts.
” Those saying nothing is being done are being unrealistic and should be ignored,” Aliero concluded.
