Adekunle David Daodu, popularly known as Raindrop, is a fast-rising Afrobeat musician whose journey into music began over 13 years ago.

Originally from Ondo State, Nigeria, Raindrop draws deep inspiration from his late father, an avid fan of Afro-Juju music.

Beyond music, Raindrop is also a trained mechanical engineer and has studied Military Science in the United States of America. His passion for music has remained his foremost hobby, and he is widely recognised for his Afrobeat sound as well as content that reflects U.S. military themes.

Despite his growing influence, Raindrop faces challenges with manpower due to his current residence in the diaspora.

However, his greatest strength lies in his musical versatility. He effortlessly blends genres, transitioning from Afrobeat to Afro-Juju, rap, Amapiano, and hip hop; a skill that distinguishes him from many in the industry.

To date, Raindrop has released several projects, including “PartyTime” (February 1, 2022), “Things” (November 11, 2022), and “Sorry” (November 1, 2024), showcasing his evolving artistry and commitment to his craft.
